Yanda Art Centre in Alice Springs welcomes Aboriginal artists from across Australia. The art centre, located in close proximity to Alice Springs, is a harmonious environment for artists to produce the finest quality aboriginal art. Meals (including traditional preparation of food), accommodation, multiple painting areas and a connection to Alice Springs essential services have established Yanda Art Centre as the preferred choice for established and emerging artists to work at.

Yanda Art Centre only works with the finest art materials for artists to produce the finest aboriginal art. From belgian linen, canvas priming with multiple coats, to the final stretching of completed art works to museum quality standards.

Throughout its 20 years of operating, Yanda Art Centre has been utilised by many of Australia’s most successful and highly-respected Aboriginal artists. These include Western Desert artists including Nyurapayia Nampitjinpa (aka Mrs Bennett), Yannima Tommy Watson, Naata Nungarrayi, Warllimpirringa Tjapaltjarri, Esther Giles Nampitjinpa, Walala Tjapaltjarri, George Tjungarrayi, Mary Brown Napangardi, Paddy Lewis Tjapaltjarri, Tatali Napurrula, and Turkey Tolson. APY Lands artists include Sandra Ken, Freda Brady, Tjungkara Ken, Yaritji Young, Maringka Tunkin, Tanya Brady and Christy Young.
